Developed by Alberta Municipal Affairs in 2018, the CAO Handbook provides a quick reference to the roles and responsibilities of a CAO and the legislation that affects municipalities. The Handbook covers a broad range of topics such as bylaws that are mandatory, investment policies, fire protection requirements, delegations before council, and numerous other topics and resources.
