• Full descriptions of a Regular Member and Affiliate Member are provided in Policy 23-2021 Membership Policy. If you are unsure about membership classification, contact us.

• Your classification of membership will be determined by LGAA following a review of your application.

First-Time Member Discount

• First-Time Members can enter "LGAA50" in the code field to receive a 50% discount on the membership fee. To be eligible you must work for a municipal government and have never been a member of LGAA before.  

• Your application will only be reviewed once payment has been received. 
• For quicker access to membership benefits and member pricing for events, applicants are encouraged to pay member fees via a credit card instead of mailing a cheque. 
• Once payment is received, applications will processed within five business days. 

• Membership fees cover the period of January 1 to December 31. 

• Renewal of membership will be invoiced in January of each year with payment due by March 1st. LGAA will not automatically charge your credit card. 

• Membership fees are pro-rated in the month immediately following LGAA's annual conference. 

• Your personal information is collected for the purposes of processing your membership and is maintained in a confidential and secure manner. 
• Your personal information will not be sold or distributed for promotional or marketing purposes.
